Directory Update is a simple, easy-to-use Web-based application that allows users to edit / update their own information in the Exchange Global Address List / Active Directory. The administrator specifies which fields / attributes are visible and editable on the User Information form. The administrator can ensure that only valid data is populated in to the Active Directory be using drop-down list boxes and providing only authorized data in the drop-down list. Drop-down lists can be converted to text boxes and field labels can be customized. This application provides a simple, easy to deploy alternative to Microsoft's GALMOD utility.
